Our Landscaping division strives to design a yard tailored to your vision. We offer two different landscaping services; Hardscaping and Softscaping. With our landscaping team your home is sure to be the model home for all the landscapes around!

Our Hardscaping services are: Patios (Paver, Slabs or Stone), Walkways (Pavers, Slabs or Stones), Retaining Walls, Boulders (Back Granite, or Fieldstone), Decorative Rocks (Black Granite, Creek Rock, or River Rock), Stump Grinding (Tree Removal/Trimming) and Fire Pits.

Patio Building & Install

Looking for the perfect outdoor entertainment space? Our patios are installed with our wide selection of paver and slab options from industry leaders. Our installation practices exceeds industry standards set by ICPI. 

Retaining Walls

Retaining Walls can be used as a structural tool and or for decorative purposes. It can be used to create elevation changes such as a sunken patio or a raised garden bed throughout the landscape.

Decorative Rock & Stone

We offer 3 different types of decorative rocks. River Rock is round, made up of mainly white with hints of blue. Our second Decorative Rock is Creek Rock, similar size and shape to River Rock but it is made up of vibrant pinks and blues. Black Granite is jagged edged, it is made up of black with hues of blue and is our most popular decorative rock.

Driveways & Sidewalks

While you don’t require a permit to install certain pergolas / gazebos / pavillions and related structures in Winnipeg, if we are drilling into the ground as part of the construction process it is required to apply for underground line locates. Total Yard Works can apply for these ground locates for you through the click before you dig system setup by the province.

Yes Total Yard Works does off installation and assembly of Winnipeg gazebos, pergolas, pavilions and similar structures bought in pre-assembled kits from stores like Costco, Home Depot, Walmart, Rona, Ikea, online stores, etc. Sending us the information or link to the kit in question can help save time and expense by allowing us to prepare for the job ahead.

For lumber designs we recommend regular maintenance and apply a treatment to the construction material. Doing so will help protect the material from rotting or wearing prematurely due to enviromental consitions. For metal gazebos we recommend regularly cleaning the material with mildly soapy or plain water to prevent premature wear and tear.
