Our Landscaping division strives to design a yard tailored to your vision. We offer two different landscaping services; Hardscaping and Softscaping. With our landscaping team your home is sure to be the model home for all the landscapes around!

Our Hardscaping services are: Patios (Paver, Slabs or Stone), Walkways (Pavers, Slabs or Stones), Retaining Walls, Boulders (Back Granite, or Fieldstone), Decorative Rocks (Black Granite, Creek Rock, or River Rock), Stump Grinding (Tree Removal/Trimming) and Fire Pits.

Patio Building & Install

Looking for the perfect outdoor entertainment space? Our patios are installed with our wide selection of paver and slab options from industry leaders. Our installation practices exceeds industry standards set by ICPI. 

Retaining Walls

Retaining Walls can be used as a structural tool and or for decorative purposes. It can be used to create elevation changes such as a sunken patio or a raised garden bed throughout the landscape.

Decorative Rock & Stone

We offer 3 different types of decorative rocks. River Rock is round, made up of mainly white with hints of blue. Our second Decorative Rock is Creek Rock, similar size and shape to River Rock but it is made up of vibrant pinks and blues. Black Granite is jagged edged, it is made up of black with hues of blue and is our most popular decorative rock.

Driveways & Sidewalks

Winnipeg Driveway Installation Our driveway and walkway installation is the superb project to achieve the ultimate curbside appeal. We offer installation of driveways and walkways using pavers, and interlocking bricks. 

Winnipeg Softscaping Services

Our Softscaping services are: Sod installation (Peat or Mineral), Artificial Turf, Planting (Trees, Shrubs and Perennial), Mulch (Variety of Colours) and Grading.

Sod Installation

We offer installation of both Peat and Mineral Sod to meet our customers needs. A great way to bring curb appeal to your property or add the final touch to our leveling and grading services. 

Artificial Turf Install

Artificial Turf is a great option for homeowners who don’t have the time for the maintenance of grass/areas with non-ideal growing conditions but want to enjoy a green space. We offer numerous installation options for Artificial Turf including but not limited to pet-friendly, heavy trafficked, putting greens, and more!

Planting & Trees

At Total Yardworks we offer perennial and tree planting services that compliment your landscape.  We take mature plant size, proper spacing, and complimentary colors in to consideration when designing a plant layout.

How do I maintain my sod?

You want to make sure your Sod is constantly moist for 2-4 weeks after installation. During this 2 week period you should avoid cutting your new Sod. Once you begin cutting your Sod, cut higher than normal to protect it from the harmful UV rays.

What is difference between hardscaping and softscaping?

Hardscaping is just as it sounds anything hard, these are components in your yard that are solid (non- organic) and do not change. Softscaping is any natural element in your yard, it is typically done after the Hardscaping and adds that final touch you didn’t know was missing

What is the difference between peat and mineral sod?

Peat Sod is pillowy to walk on, it turns a very deep lush green and is best for low to medium trafficked areas. Peat Sod is our most cost effective grass option.

Mineral Sod is typically 2-3 times heavier than a piece of Peat Sod, it is drought resistant and turns a lighter shade of green. Mineral Sod is perfect for heavily trafficked areas, and a beneficial option for families with four-legged family members. Mineral Sod is our mid-range grass option.
