Wooden Fencing

Winnipeg Wooden Fencing

Using our double pressure treated, premium lumber, Coppertone Barefoot Brown, we offer vertical and horizontal wood fences, using our 4×4, 6×6 or hybrid post system. With many customizable wood designs, we will work with you to design the fence of your dreams.

Our 6×6 post system is our premium fence build. Typically speaking, this fence build is used on commercial properties with the added touch of cap and dato. Some residential communities in Winnipeg have specs for fences in that area. We see a lot of 6×6 posts being on that spec list.

Our 4×4 fence post system is most popular with our residential wood fence division. This is a cost effective solution for wood posts, that offers the most privacy. We are able to match various styles using 4×4 posts. Our most common fence styles feature our top of the line fence. This uses a 2×6 cap, 2×4’s as stringers, and finally 1×6’s are used as pickets. This can also be done in reverse so as to make a horizontal fence. Does your neighbor happen to be your best friend and you enjoy their company? No problem, we offer a good neighbor fence style

Our hybrid fence offers a steel galvanized post. Typically speaking we use a 2-3/8” post attaching to the wood using a metal bracket. We pound the post 3-4’ deep, just below the frost line. The hybrid post offers an added level of protection against rot in fence posts.

Ornamental Fencing

Winnipeg Ornamental Fencing Company

Our ornamental fence brings a level of curb appeal and elegance that will have your neighbors captivated. Typically, we see this fence on commercial properties that are looking to spruce up their property. In residential areas this fence is used around pools and yards.

We have two different families of ornamental fencing to choose from. Our first family is the Montage Ornamental Fence. This fence offers an elegant fence made from steel that has been powder coated to color match. It offers the look of traditional wrought iron fencing without the maintenance that comes with it.

Our second family is the Echelon family of Ornamental fencing. Echelon is an aluminum fence that has then undergone a powder coating finish to match the color. This fence is only available upon special request.

Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some of the more frequently asked questions and answers we see in relation to our service(s). Please feel free to submit your own questions or submit a question and answer you feel we are missing on this page and our staff will review it as quickly as possible for you!

You want to make sure your Sod is constantly moist for 2-4 weeks after installation. During this 2 week period you should avoid cutting your new Sod. Once you begin cutting your Sod, cut higher than normal to protect it from the harmful UV rays.

Hardscaping is just as it sounds anything hard, these are components in your yard that are solid (non- organic) and do not change. Softscaping is any natural element in your yard, it is typically done after the Hardscaping and adds that final touch you didn’t know was missing

Peat Sod is pillowy to walk on, it turns a very deep lush green and is best for low to medium trafficked areas. Peat Sod is our most cost effective grass option.

Mineral Sod is typically 2-3 times heavier than a piece of Peat Sod, it is drought resistant and turns a lighter shade of green. Mineral Sod is perfect for heavily trafficked areas, and a beneficial option for families with four-legged family members. Mineral Sod is our mid-range grass option.
